Interesting. They have just increased the price to ?19.99! Oh well, as long as they honour their price pledge for those of us who ordered it at ?8.98. Reminds me of the time I got the Doors Perception box set when they incorectly showed the pre-order price at ?17.50 instead of ?75 for a couple of hours.

I printed the Amazon page before I ordered... I figured this might happen.

This CD does not contain Night of the Jersey Devil as advertised. I believe this was on a pre release document but the actual CD does not contain this track, just the basic 12 but with one bonus track only "The Wrestler"

You mean if this Alan Partridge was in the Norwegian pop group a-ha, together with Morten Harket, P?l Waaktaar(not sure I spelled that one right...) and Morten Furuholmen?

No, not those Norwegian wimps but a salute to that magnificent group ABBA as in Knowing Me, Knowing You..aha. Google Alan Partridge if you want to know more.

It's an unofficial release rather than a boot. There are hundreds on Amazon, including at least 6 for Bruce Springsteen. What's the difference? Good question. I assume unofficial is when the artist/record company/copyright holder are not interested in going after those involved in producing/selling such items. A bootleg is a cloak and daggar release where the producers/sellers are wary of being chased down by said artist/record company/copyright holders. Personally, I think unofficial releases can be defined as anything that is so bad that it is not worth the effort of officialdom to presecute. In any case it provides welcome income to poor improverished sellers like Amazon. A bootleg however, is usually as good and often better than an official release and thus needs to be chased down and removed from the shelves.
