Yes, because the normal Bruce fanatics refused to buy tickets when they went on sale because they were hoping for GA's. Since there are no GA's now, demand for tickets for these shows has gone up.

Also:
1. The economy
2. The fact they went on sale right around Xmas.
3. Too a lesser degree, Bruce's politics may have factored in.

Well, considering he sold many tickets in the 10 shows in July/August 2003, it seems logical to think that the current three will be in the neighborhood of really sold-out.

Though it was a breeze getting a pair of GAs for 4 US non-GS shows on BTX - took me an entire week (Jacksonville even dropped GA on TM well after the initial sale)... three of those in arenas, too.

Perhaps yes, apart from the Philly-NJ-NYC-Boston area the market doesn't care too much - or is mightily annoyed by $115 tickets (when all fees and whatnots are factored in)...

---------

In 1999 it had been nearly a decade since 'Bruce w/ESB' had toured, so the pent-up demand that was apparent in 1999-2000 is not present now. Added to this is that fact that the MAGIC album has sold only half the copies in the USA and Canada that the RISING album did...the sales success of the album one is touring behind usually affects ticket demand. So it's not surprising that concert ticket demand in North America is softer in 2007-8 than it was in 2002-3 or 1999-0.

I'd be happy to snap up those tix, if only Richmond were in Minnesota.

It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive.
