...that this late in his career and at the age of 66 that he'd be playing 2 of his longest shows ever??

And also these shows do not include a "short break" either...

Cheers,

Hazy

5 out of the top 10 are from this summer! 9 are from summer 2012 or later.

And, even more important, some of these shows are not only long but brilliant. Great set lists, great energy, great emotions, great atmosphere, great singing, great playing and great audience participation.

Sometimes I think back to end of '98. Nobody had a clue what was going to happen in April '99 and all these years and tours after. Since then it's getting better and better year after year.

If somebody had told me in '98 what I will experience in the next 18 years, I would have told this person a total fool.

I was thinking about this. Some say, oh, he's dropped off so much, he should retire. I saw the Bruce of '78, 80, 84, etc.* He doesn't jump off the piano, do somersaults, knee slides and such. But I think the voice is still good. Did he forget how to play guitar or all the lyrics? No. In one sense, to me, it's more satisfying to see a guy I've shared so much history with. The Bruce who lost people in his life, who raised 3 good kids. A guy who, like me, has gotten older, has aches and pains, can't do what he did anymore, but still keeps going. I don't need to see a young kid of 25. So I'll keep this Bruce.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            *And the '99 Bruce-17 years ago, wow.

And as Mathias mentioned not only long (quantity) but also in quality, and not just getting close to the days of old but going by a number of recent testimonials, some of the best of his career!

Who would've thunk it!!!

Hazy
