What I did on my SPL vacation...

I spent the time deciding that if I ever arrange to buy tickets from people I only know as usernames on a message baord, I will never, never, never leave the only record of their contact details on that message board.

-Celebrated my 2nd anniversary with my wife Sarah

-Started getting our spare bedroom ready for our first child...due on Oct. 9th

-Found out my sister has a contact at Blossom to buy me good tickets for the Springsteen show

The two most important things;

-Decided to start to eat more vegetables, proper dinners each day (as often as I am able), and more whole-grain bread.

-Joined a new club and started to train at least 5 hours a week. It's been 2 years since I quit, and I've gotten a belly I've promised myself to be gone by next christmas.


My stomach is funny, probably the shock from over-exposure to vegetables, and my foot soles hurt like hell.

1. I started herrassing CJ, with an email that the SPL was down, as if he didn't know.
2. Kept my on the 404 Page, hoping to see some black and orange in there soon
3. Got a little Anxcious, will or will it not be back again
4. Got an email from CJ, he was working on it...............
5. Started Grabit and found some post on the SPL breakdown
6. Found the substitute to SPL, thanks to Karen, Didn't feel that lost anymore
7. Kept trying the uriginal URL of the SPL

15. Kept trying, and it came up again, just to find out we had to start from scratch again

Somewhere in between found some time to backup my hardrive to DVD and spent some time wih my kid

Tore out a fence
Laid down some sod
Mowed the lawn for the first time this year
Lost three pounds
Promptly gained it back.
Mourned the loss of SPL.
Found a cool new hangout spot.
Rejoiced in the return of SPL, albeit in a mutated version. (Must be the effect of the nuclear holocaust).

1. former NCAA first team (junior year), second team (senior year) female.
2. former DVSC (Hungarian first division)/A-League player
3. former state high school keeper of the year
4. three other men with intercollegiate experience
5. two other ladies with intercollegiate experience
and
6. me

And after this, I even was tempted to join Greasy Lake <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />. Thanks to God that The Stone Pony London Displaced Persons Campground saved me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />.

1. Finished working on the buildout of our new office (14,000 sq ft of it)
2. Moved all 40 people and all the rest of the stuff that our office needs to survive including the coke machine.
3. Worked roughly 160+ hours in two weeks and got horribly sick on Tuesday morning.
4. Lost 7 lbs due to not being able to keep anything down.

been studying for my state exam for Fire Inspector. I have been taking classes since Nov '05 and finally was able to get all the courses completed.

I've been going over notes the past 2 weeks. The test is tomorrow ( 5-5 ) and I am confident, but still nervous.

oh and I found out that I have a wife and two kids still at home(thought they left awhile ago.. must have come back)
and then the grandkids came over(where did they come from?)
and then I found this big ball of yellow in the sky (someone said it was the sun?)
and drank heavily
