WALL.E

I'll second that. We went with a mixed group of adults and kids and all walked out feeling it was one of the best films we'd seen in ages. It's been interesting how often we've referred to it, and the opening it provides to have some cool discussions with my kids about environmental issues, human nature, and American culture.

We spent the last 2 days at a huge water park resort, and my daughter would occasionally poke me and subtly point to someone and mouth "Wall*E."

Funny, we were either going to take the kids (4 and 6) to see Wall E, or Kung Fu Panda and after readign the reviews saw Kung Fu Panda. Seems like many of the people doing the reviews thought it was too political and may not be for small kids. Kind of wished we had seen it now.

My kids have seen both WALL-E and Kung Fu Panda. Enjoyed both, although my 6 yr old began karate-chopping everyone and everything after KFP, so not so good for the parents.

She should be more embarrassed that you listen to ABBA.

I saw it and it was really slow paced.
Good message, but the freaking robot doesn't really talk so there isn't a lot of dialogue.

Enjoyed it, and I'm sure it will win awards, but wait until it is out on cable unless the kids are dying to go.

WALL E is my fav of the year thus far.. Great movie

Seems to be a world-wide phenomenon, my 6-y-0 was the same for the wkhole evening. Nothing was safe in the living room........
