personaly i use azureus and it dont use alot of memmory on my side, first iwas afraid of that because i ame now on a verry old one.
it all depends on the virus, firewall, spyware settings that your use.
azureus also kicks off people who are sending to much wrong data, utorrent also?
and for bitcomment users scan that prog last time i downloaded it Kaspersky, and norton said spyware on it so it must be not clean.

i think you have your settings oke according to your speed so i expect your not a pc dummy
but there are proggies they only want todo things on the c directorie.
thats the place i want as clean as possible beceause i want only windows there, and most of the time its not so big.
for example when i installed it i could not say where to instal it automaticly c:/program files
it was the last one

wel i find it just a kind of funny to see azureus blogs your system, especialy i have it on a verry old pc,with not alot of memmory.
a known fault is java, you have to work with the latest version.
personaly i have nothing against utorrent or others, only bitcomet at this moment,or i was linked to the wrong side.
utorrent wil be getting better because they are not long around.

funny i cant put so much memmory in this old one,do use the latest java,or just to much uploading/downloading at the same time thats a other issue what takes mem.
try one up one down and with all that mem and i think dual core and so you must even notice its working.

Well I try to seed what I download...so I usually have a lot of torrents open to saturate my 600kb/s upload...gonna build a new pc soon,so it won't matter too much longer

The PC that I use for seeding torrents on Jungleland is not my main PC, it is my OLD desktop which I use as a file server and sits in my kitchen. Only 384 MB of memory on it, maxed out. Runs Azureus better than my new desktop with 2 GB of memory, go figure.
