I'm not going GA this time around. I had back surgery a year ago. An implant was installed to relieve nerve pressure and stabilize my spine. Long story short it didn't work. It was removed so I was in quite a bit of pain and had trouble walking. I had no feeling along the bottom of my right foot. Then I tried Gabapenten and once the right dosage was found I was pain free, like a new man or a younger one. I call it my miracle drug. It's an anti-spasmodic made for epileptics but they found it blocks nerve pain. It has some side affects listed but I don't get any except dry mouth for about 30 minutes. I can live with that.
So... I feel like I can do GA, my stamina is up from walking our dogs 2 to 3 times per day but I just don't want to risk it. I'm being cautious.
