i remember thinking at the time that this must be the end....how wrong i was...although it did take an act of unthinkable brutality to get the first full band album in 15 years.

over the years gotten to appreciate tracks more and more..i think bruce has as well with the fairly frequent live performance of some of the best off tracks.

we were in europe this summer seeing a few shows and among the younger fans tracks is a favourite

just stand back and let it all be

I was a little disappointed at the beginning of the Reunion because I thought it would be a true "Tracks" tour. "Where the Bands Are", "My Love Will Not Let You Down" and "Don't Look Back" got some deserved rotation, but songs like "Seaside Bar Song" "Loose Ends" "Take 'em as They Come" "Cynthia" and "TV Movie" were begging for more action. They never did the reworked "Stolen Car" which would have been cool, and I would have loved to have heard them revisit stuff like "Bishop Danced" and "Man At the Top" or try "Linda let Me Be the One" or full band "The Promise".

I really enjoyed the tour, but they left a lot in the vault. I think "Tracks" and "Devils and Dust" still have a lot of dark corners for the E Street band to explore. Still unplayed by the E Street Band (unless I missed something):

TV Movie
Linda Let Me Be the One
Stolen Car (alt)
All the Way Home
Leah
Devils and Dust
Long Time Comin'
Maria's Bed

Plus County Fair, Dollhouse, Restless Nights, Take em', Living On the Edge of the World, I Wanna Be With You all done a once or a handful of times. Not to mention The Way, The Preacher's Daughter, I'm Goin' Back, Protection, Little Girl, etc, etc...

Not nickpicking, mostly just Bruce on guitar and that's it. Those fuckers didn't play any of those songs on these 2 tours, so they never will. Missed opportunity. But hey, at least they played Waitin' On A Sunny Day!!

edit: I think Soozie was on Violin for that song.
