I like that Bruce is mixing it up a bit.  Taking a sign request was nice.  Let's face it, that was one of the most popular and enjoyable things he's ever done.  At least, as far as we are concerned.

Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, set list

An incredible show with quite a few set list changes.

Lights out: 7:34 p.m.
First note: 7:36 p.m.

1. She's The One
First time this has ever opened a show.
2. Prove It All Night
3. Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street?
Played for only the second time on the 2023-24 tour. First time was in Asbury Park at Sea.Hear.Now on Sept. 15, 2024.
4. Ghosts
5. Sherry Darling (an audible, sign request)
6. Letter To You
7. The Promised Land
8. Hungry Heart
9. If I Was The Priest
An audible Bruce may have seen a sign for it while looking at the audience during "Hungry Heart."
"Here's a song I wrote 50 years ago. We don't play it enough."
Played for the 10th time on the 2023-24 tour. Last time played was Aug. 18, 2024 in Pittsburgh.
10. Youngstown
11. Long Walk Home
Bruce: "Big day coming up on Tuesday. This is a small prayer for my country."
12. The E Street Shuffle
13. Nightshift
14. Last Man Standing
15. Backstreets
16. Because The Night
17. Wrecking Ball
18. The Rising
19. Badlands
20. Thunder Road

Encores:
21. Meeting Across The River
Played for only the second time on the 2023-24 tour. The other time was in Asbury Park on Sept. 15, 2024. And on a personal note, this is my favorite Springsteen song and has my favorite lyric: "Change your shirt, 'cause tonight we got style."
22. Jungleland
Played for only the fourth time on the 2023-24 tour.
23. Born to Run
24. Bobby Jean
25. Dancing in the Dark
Band introductions
26. Tenth Avenue Freeze-out
27. Twist and Shout
28. I'll See You In My Dreams
"Thank you Toronto, the E Street Band loves you!"

Show over at 10:27 p.m. for a 2:51 show.

Seven of the eight songs on the "Born to Run" album played tonight.

Mark Pender again in the horn section replacing Curt Ramm. Saw a post where it says Curt is now touring Europe with They Might Be Giants. Interesting that there was no trumpet on "Meeting Across the River." Curt did play it at the Asbury Park show.

Thank you to Pete Maimone and Michael A. Frangipane for the live streams. Always very much appreciated. Sorry you both got booted off.

Next show: Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the same arena in Toronto.

Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory
