Kansas City, Mo. 

Beautiful city, Beautiful People.   Great Food.

Really strange night.  Probably the Second best crowd of the shows that I have gone to- Second only to Dallas.   Very loud, very vocal, at points you could hear them over the band.   

Kittys back - He's the man I tell ya.   During the "it's all right" at end he kep shaking his head no and waving his hand until the crowd got the message and they delivered.   

Bruce and the band just steam rolled through the set list.  For some reason an abbreviated set list compared to what has been played thus far -- Patti song spot, Letter to you song spot, and Don't play that song all dropped.   I think 25 songs tonight about 2:40

Not very scientific observation and a ya the sky is blue comment- Bruce and the band feed off the crowd.  They just seem to play better when the crowd is locked in.   As great as this crowd was, nothing out of the ordinary from the band.

Bruce gave a "wow Kansas City- great crowd" before Dreams.

Probably best part of the night.   On the sidewalk outside of venue at the loading dock, a crowd gathered to try and get a glimpse of our hero as he is wisked away with a police escort.  The loading dock door slides open.  One police car goes out.  A second police cart exits and blocks the street.  A Dark SUV with windows half down exits with our hero waving and the sycophants screaming.  Above the roar of the crowd, toward the back a voice rises above the cacaphony--

"Fuck Covid?  FUCK YOU!" 

oh the damn peasants....

"It's Not Dark Yet..."

Just once I want to hear GeorgeWashington switch it up with a "Shit city, Ugly People."

Maybe he is saving it for Philly?

Bruce is putting on the greatest show on earth. What kind of "Fan" would be let down?

Leave your signs at home IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU! Your sign causes people behind you to not see. You are not more important than the guy behind you.

There is no line up for GA. While each venue is different most have allowed GA entry from any door with entry at 6pm. Lines start around 5p. Sit there for a week, keep lists, pretend you matter, it will guarantee you nothing.

5:00 dinner.  Enter arena at 7.  Stroll into GA at 7:20 with cold beer and land 25 feet from stage.   Lots of room, no issues.   No childish drama….  

funny how the sign holders have no regard for the people behind them.   I found pelting them with ice helps…..
