Talk is that Bruce will wait until next year now.

The clicking clock is starting to scare me - my favorite performer will be 73 this September. Some of my other favorites are already over 80. The recent C.W. Post release reminded me that I am no longer 22, as I was when I went to that show. As TMBG say, I'm older than I'm ever been, and now I'm even older, and now I'm older still. And I caught a look at myself in the mirror today, and I look even older than that.
I'm extra eager for the next tour because there's always the chance he (or me) won't have an opportunity to do it again. This damn virus is taking a lot of joy away from us in all sorts of ways
You still have us Scott. A lot of us have had ups and downs the past couple of years. I would host Sports parties for the guys on my block almost every week. I spent some time with Ed a few weeks ago and it was great seeing him. Being shut up due to Covid for over 2 years ... well it hasn't bothered me as much as I thought. (kudos to Beth) Today I was feeling a bit melancholy however after a zoom call with three of my SPL brothers, it passed. I guess what I'm trying to say is good friends, such as all of you help an awful lot. So kudos to you too... my friends.
Here's to good friends.
“Well now all that’s sure on the boulevard is just that life is just a house of cards as fragile as each and every breath of this boy sleeping in our bed
Tonight let’s lie beneath the eves just a close band of happy thieves and when that train comes we’ll get on board and steal what we can from the treasures of the Lord
It’s been a long long drought baby tonight the rains pourin’ down on our roof looking for a little of God’s mercy ….”

To all: May 2022 become the best year yet of your years of thievery
Q2
Now on out here on this road
Out on this road tonight
I close my eyes and feel so many friends around me
In the early evening light
And the miles we have come
And the battles won and lost
Are just so many roads travelled
So many rivers crossed
And I ask God for the strength
And faith in one another
'Cause it's a good night for a ride
Cross this river to the other side
My blood (SPL) brothers
Listen to E Street Radio addressing the 2022 tour rumour
I’ve just throwing this out there, but is there a possibility that instead of doing a tour with all the inherent issues, Bruce and the E Street Band do 10 nights at MSG with a video simulcast? New York City has the vaccination rules for dealing with a live audience (unlike most of the possible tour stops). Of course, getting tickets to actually be there in person would be impossible for most fans, but at least we could watch it via Nugs and Bruce and the band would get to perform for an audience. And Bruce could change the setlist every night so we'd want to see/hear every show.
MSG has Billy, Newark, NJ has Bruce.
