CLEVELAND, Ohio - An all-star corps -- including Bruce Springsteen, Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir, Lucinda Williams, Tom Morello and Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme -- will play tribute to the late Clash frontman Joe Strummer during the all-star “A Song For Joe: Celebrating the Life of Joe Strummer” from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 via JoeStrummer.com. Money raised during the streamcast will benefit the National Independent Venue Association’s Save Our Stages campaign. Strummer died from a heart attack on Dec. 22, 2002 at the age of 50.
