Tom Morello is a turn-it-up to 11 kind of guy.
So the “The Atlas Underground Live: The Last Big Event Before We All Go To Jail” tour show on Tuesday, May 7, at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park should be quite an experience.

“It’s one part Marshall stack guitar madness and one part bass drop meltdown,” posted Morello about the show. “The show will be an intense sonic and visual ‘less talk, more rock’ experience that’s somewhere between a crazy mosh pit, an illegal rave, a subversive art installation and a prison riot.”
Tickets, $29.50 in advance and $35 at the door, go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22. Presale tickets available go on sale 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, with the password “atlasunderground” at tommorello.com.
“The Atlas Underground” is Morello’s 2018 solo album that merges rock and EDM, along with a few other elements. Guest stars include GZA, RZA, Big Boi, Steve Aoki, Portugal. The Man, and many more.
Morello’s the former guitarist for Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and the current gutiarist for Prophets of Rage. He’s also a part-time guitarist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, subbing for Stevie Van Zandt during the band’s 2013 Australian tour and appearing on the “Wrecking Ball” and “High Hopes” albums.
