For me it was a great concert, we had so much fun!

We arrived 3 pm and there were 500 people with numbers and another 500 without. 4 pm the people with numbers were let in, shortly afterwards all others. All very calm. We managed to go into the FOS without a problem (like in the old times there were no special FOS tickets). 10 minutes later the FOS was closed.

The FOS was very small, maybe one third of Berlin. In the back was plenty of space, but you were only 10 or 12 meters away from the micro. We could go into 3rd row at the small stage to the left several times. Both of us touched Bruce's hand at the small stage and at the back of FOS during HH.

4:30 pm Bruce came on stage solo and played Working On The Highway. Kind of lame but still a nice surprise. 6 pm a Norwegian band "the dogs" played for 35 minutes. Cool band, good sound, good mood.

Bruce stayed with "Meet Me", the song I was hoping for since I saw it on you tube from Madison square garden. Great start! And then the magic words: "It's the second concert on Oslo, and we want to do something special. We will play the river from start to finish." So my biggest wish came true as well.

I absolutely loved the slow songs. Bruce told two cool stories, magical atmosphere. Unfortunately people were chatting quite a lot, but anyway.

There were some cool fans, who danced during the fast songs, like it was the last concert ever. We had so much fun jumping, dancing and singing arm in arm with strangers, but good friends for these hours. Absolutely loved it.

Also to mention:

- So cool location within the trees in a park. You could see the fountain in the back and the pictures on the big screen looked fucking great

- Great sound for the first half at least. At times you could here the whole band firing on all cylinders so could, I had tears in my eyes. What a great band! Later it became a little muddy, but there was a heavy base, which I liked. During born in the USA my cloth were flattering around my body, no joke!

-Since they played river in full it was so different from Berlin, the first concert for me on this tour. Loved both, amazing different atmospheres...

I will post pictures later, have to go on the get back home now...

That's awesome Mathias, put a lump in my throat reading that. Special! Especially when he does what he really should be doing.

Cheers,

Hazy

She said last night she read those letters...
And they made her feel one hundred years old...

It was a fun show, but too similar to Gothenburg #3 for my taste (I was there, too). Felt like the pit audience was singing more along on this show, but it's hard to tell for sure, just my impression.

I wish he'd throw away a few of the standard songs for some requests when doing the full album (Nils nailed the solo on Streets of fire in Udine '09, so could've swapped BtN for that one, for example).

Tried to get Kevin out to play with them, but it didn't happen. At least he smiled when he saw the sign before the show

After the river it was pretty standard setlist, I guess. But I was not in Gothenburg, so. At least no Working, Darlington or WoasD...

I saw your Kevin sign on the big screen and had to smile as well.
