I second what Ralf is saying about emotional impact. Did not happen. Only exception to me was the middle part of backstreet, where he repeated "till the end" five or six times.

Has something happened in the last few days (e.g. I heard he flew to London after the Munich show)? Or will something happen in the future?

In my "disappointment" about the prevalence of simple Rock'n'Roll songs in yesterdays show, I forgot to mention that this was indeed one emotional highlight.

The way he held up his guitar to the sky in the beginning already signaled that he wanted to give the song a spiritual meaning.

In the video you can see that he touched the guitar to his forehead, before starting to hit the chords.

In asian traditions - and because Clarence had a "guru" I am sure Bruce knows about this - this is seen as a sign of humbleness and asking whatever higher powers you believe in, to support you and that you act as a servant in service of the public.

In this fashion - I guess - he played that song, knowing that this will not go on forever. And he really gave all he had, yesterday night.

I am still "high on happiness" today. And my wife - who has seen him for the first time, yesterday - now keeps asking, when we will see his next show.

It's the other way round now. The past three years I was advertising Bruce to her, now she is turning into a bigger Bruce disciple than me.

I also had the impression that Backstreets had a special meaning to him last night. Maybe Clarence (who passed away five years ago) came to his mind at that moment.
