It's been about 6 years since we saw the last full band show here are my musings. Running into Cherry Top before the show was great! We figured that we hadn't seen each other since 2009, he had GA pit, Scored 111 on a fan run line and was on the rail by Nils and Susie. I'll let him review his night. We were section 109 directly in front of the stage. Their entry was great from our perspective, don't want to ruin it so that's all I'll say. Opening with No Surrender was totally unexpected and great. To me the set list was good, we went with 2 Bruce Virgins and they loved the show and were impressed with other horns. Stevens drummer was phenomenal (I forget his name). Curtis was front and center a few times. Backstreets (what can I say!!). I went to opening night in Hartord for the Magic tour and this one blew it away! Great to see Peter and Deb (PeterNF), Eddie and Jodie (Hey Eddie), Martin and family (Essexboy), Missed the Mayor (Eugene) and Lisa, and Dave (DMR), Maybe in Orlando. Next!

Great to see Tara and Dave (and the others who are on the road trip to Atlanta).  Agree with Tara's musings -- excellent starter.  I was in 129 right next to the stage in row B -- so a good view of the band.  You could see that Bruce had aged since the last tour (duuuuuh) -- and that his motions were not as enthusiastic and natural - and he appeared winded after some songs.  The band looked great and seemed happy to be back.  Steven looks like a new person, but appeared energetic and engaged throughout the show.  Garry was the usual dependable player -- and a real Tallent.  Max didn't collapse.  Singers not used too much (okay with me).

Overall we enjoyed the setlist -- some songs need work or elimination (house of many guitars -- I forget how many), Burnin Train -- the soul songs -- but overall it was a strong start and I LOVED the show.

I was in Tampa in 2008 after Danny's passing -- and Backstreets was an emotional moment for me back then -- and in 2023.  Loved hearing it.

Interested to see changes (if any) tonight.

I wish I'd known you were in Tampa

Sorry I missed you.  I was staying in Orlando with a group of folks -- drove over to Tampa for the show, then back to Orlando.  Glad to see you got into the show!!

Next stop for me is Orlando tonight -- then we will see.  Hoping to get Denver tickets as I will be out their skiing at that time.  Last did that back in 2000 -- skied all day, Bruceed all night, then repeated it the next day.
