Just back, bit of a strange one. A lot more of a crowd-pleasing set than Sunday and in fact it felt like this was a night one set and Sunday was night two. The crowd was certainly more lively. As far as I recall no talking apart from the food bank PSA and the band seemed to be rushing through some of the songs. A couple of slips - once missing some words in Mary's Place and he started singing at the start of Hungry Heart before handing over to the crowd.
Nice to have Thunder Road back and Downbound Train always welcome. Overall although on the short side another enjoyable outing. The sound also seemed a bit better than Sunday although that may have been the different location I was in. I went with a colleague who was attending his first show and enjoyed it considerably so always makes it worthwhile. Maybe saving himself for a monumental evening on Friday As an aside, not a complaint but this was the first show I have attended where there were no songs new to me.
