My 5 votes go to:

1978-07-07 Roxy, LA (No Private Parties, Ev2)
1978-09-19 Passaic (Passaic Night, CC)
1978-09-21 Passaic (Singing Our Birthday Songs, Godfather)
1978-09-30 Atlanta (Same Old Played Out Scenes)
1978-12-15 Winterland (PS @ Winterland, Prodigal Son)

Passaic 21st September has such a great second set.
Apologies Pete - I should pay more attention. My 12 then are:

1978-07-07 Roxy, LA (No Private Parties, Ev2)
1978-08-09 Agora (Agora Night, CC)
1978-08-21 MSG New York (Big Time Rock & Roll, Ev2)
1978-09-19 Passaic (Passaic Night, CC)
1978-09-21 Passaic (Singing Our Birthday Songs, Godfather)
1978-09-30 Atlanta (Same Old Played Out Scenes)
1978-11-02 Largo (It's Dangerous Down There Tonight, Zeke)
1978-12-15 Winterland (PS @ Winterland, Prodigal Son)
1978-12-16 Winterland (unbooted)
1978-12-19 Portland (Paramount Night, CC)
1978-12-20 Seattle (This Is For The Crazies)
1979-01-01 Cleveland (Meeting Across The River?)
Here's my 12. However, trying to narrow this tour down to 5 may cause insanity.

1978-05-31 Boston (Looking for that million Dollar Sound-Pitch corrected)
1978-07-07 Roxy, LA (No Private Parties, Ev2)
1978-08-09 Agora (Agora Night, CC)
1978-09-03 Saginaw (1st gen tape version)
1978-09-17 New York (Hussey soundboard remaster)
1978-09-19 Passaic (Passaic Night, CC)
1978-09-21 Passaic (Singing Our Birthday Songs, Godfather)
1978-09-30 Atlanta (Same Old Played Out Scenes)
1978-11-02 Largo (It's Dangerous Down There Tonight, Zeke)

Special exception for the Darkness tour. Everyone knows it's Bruce at his finest, plus the sound is excellent for many shows.

How about top-5 for everything else, top-10 for Darkness?

It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive.

I thought the idea was that there will be 12 shows we can vote for. This will lead to a top 12 in my opinion.

I would help if you read the entire topic. And since you haven't read it no I doesn't belong. Great sound. Sub-par performance .
Are you retarded? Hell yeah it was better in '78!

It's gonna make the list. Why? Because folks have over rated it for years. There are WAYYYY better Darkness shows. It's a choppy performance. Point Blank and Independence Day weren't ready to be played. I haven't listen to it since Ev2 came out with his edit. ALL of these shows are a better representation of the Darkness tour.

That's probably a good idea for everyone.

If Independence Day was not ready to be played at the Roxy, then he never should have finished it! Love the Roxy show. And the rawness of Point Blank was amazing! My copy is worn out, please send me yours, with all the better shows you have, you wont get to it again, i am sure! there is an excitement to the Roxy Show that is hard to match. Love listening to it.

I love the MSG shows. I had most of these shows on a hard drive that got wiped out, so i havent listened to some of them in a while. not enough time or energy to redownload those.

my five:

Winterland 12/15
Passaic night
Agora
Roxy
MSG 8/21
1978-12-15 Winterland (PS @ Winterland, Prodigal Son)

for me it would be this show above all the others from this tour..i havent really listened to all of them..maybe someday i'll get the chance to..but right now my money is on this boot from this tour..darkness seemed to be the biggest..and in the eyes of sum..his best..

personally i lovve all bruce's stuff..but then again..thats just me lol..nutso bruce fan..lol

Given that is the first show I ever saw, so would I. But I think what was seen at the trade show was probably clips mostly from the 9.27 show, of which parts have leaked some time ago.
