We could further drop Where The Rivers Meet since the setlists of 84/8/20 and 84/9/18 are basically the same as this one. That would leave room for one of the Oaklands of 85 and one from the Final LA stand.

which version of the 2nd night you're talking about Patrick, I want to listen to it; I found on the BTX mp3 index the Rick B?s version, is this the one ?

That's the source tape, at least, I have no idea whether it is the EV2 version or not, the Ev2 is definitely here:

Back in 97-98 when I bought Cdr's, I remember coming home from work at 10 PM and finding my last purchased had arrived. I stayed up all night listening to them. First up 1976-04-07. Nice sound but just a great performance. Second 1978-09-03. My favorite Darkness boot. Finally 1984-09-22. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Great sound. Unreal setlist. But the performance just didn't match. It's right up there with Oh Boy for best sound to worst performance ratio.
Are you retarded? Hell yeah it was better in '78!
[quote=KingOfMilwaukee]I am a little behind the times, but the best ALBUMS I had from this tour were

1. Sugarland (Ames, IA)

I believe Sugarland was actually Lincoln, NE 11/18/84--IMHO, this boot is better than Kansas. The sound is a wash--probably the same taper given the high quality and the concerts a day apart--and the setlists are nearly the same (switch "Glory Days" for "I'm Goin' Down), but Sugarland has a song performed twice ever. I think the rarity factor is always a big deal when making these compilations. Alpine Valley is most memorable for "Man at the Top" and the 8/20 Meadowlands show for the twice played "Drift Away". It works the wrong way too, when he plays "Independence Day" as an opener and everyone goes gaga over an all right boot.

Anyway, another vote for Sugarland.
