I have re-collected loads  of boot Vinyl - never play them but nice to own and probably have a resale value for the family when I go to that set list in the sky.

Have also managed to get all the official stuff ( Live in NYC and The Rising are not easy to find) and have Jap. issues of all the early stuff. My Kids either play them or listen on ipods -They never play the CDs!

Looking for Happy New Year ( 31.12.80) and For True Rockers Only

( 15.12.78)  box sets ...Can anyone help?

Can't believe I let these go in the late 1980's  What was I thinking?

Reminds me of flicking through boxes at the Camden Record Fair coveting titles like Born to be the Boss, Follow That Dream and Teardrops on the City.

I have no idea why I do this - must be a mid-life crises - Cue abuse from Mando.

Breathing, it seems, is all it takes to get abuse from Mando. Guy definitely has a little dick.

I still have Follow That Dream and Born To Be The Boss, but haven't played either since busting a turntable in '92. Can't remember all my other vinyl boots, but there's E Ticket, Piece De Resistance, Porn In the USA and As Requested and some hodgepodge with a '76 Frankie that I forget the name of. I should throw them up on E-Bay!

Red Dwarf reference follows...

Classic - Rimmer uses a felt tip to write answers on his forearm  for the  Engineering Exam.... and smears them by pushing his sleeve up.

It's why Bruce had to go down the autocue route  - a similar cockup on Tunnel of Love tour during first performance of Be True. He'd only played it live once before this ( 26.8.84) and needed the crutch of lyrics. Apparently Patti offered to rinse his shirt through that night  and that .... .....is another story - suprised there is no reference to this in Carlin's book,
