Wy not! What do ya reckon?
And just make sure they're the great high quality ones.
All we need to get started is a kind and generous SPL'er to seed one...
I'm reminded of one person that didn't enjoy getting disc packages in the mail.
(how is that Tower show Hazy )
Stands to reason that it could be s very new idea and you just never heard of it.Right???
On second thought.
Yea we are old.
But also wise.
Incase you were being serious.A vine was a way to get shows out to a bunch of people instead of just a one to one person trade.
Snail mail pyramid type scheme. It was pretty cool.If...IF the people actually resent the original back out.
And if the snail mail man even delivered the discs in the first place.
but it would take a while to complete.usually you would put a 3 day exchange of hands on it.meaning.you would have three days after you got the show to rip it and resend it to the next person.
you could set it up for just your country or for the world.
It was fine. If you have been on this board since 2006 then you have heard of vines. They were still somewhat active that year.
It may be seen as sonewhat old fashioned nowadays but it did and still does work. getting the disks through the door, copyin and posting on. Some weeks I was almost copying everynight and off tot he Po the next day.
So no wining (sorry about the pun and spelling) about vines
Tracking the vines and receiving discs in the mail was great fun. Listening to the endless excuses, from the same people, on why a vine ended with them kind of sucked.
ah, vines - those were the days. I really want to know how much money I spent on postage then. It was fun! Some months there was not a day were no envelope with discs would arrive.
Yep, I am old!
