I enjoy seeing the Clarks and Deasy in Pittsburgh. I was going to head to Station Square on Friday night, but with the Steeler game and all the other stuff decided to stay at home.

Have you ever gone to see Rob James (from the Clarks)& Bill play together? It is a fabulous show with very few people in attendance so it is a decent intimate setting. They used to play the last Wednesday of every month at Thursdays in Beaver. They always play a couple of covers of either Springsteen, Zevon, Van Morrison, Jackson Browne, Steve Earle, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead as well as their own stuff.

I'm looking forward to at least a couple of shows in my backyard soon (not literally). Oh crap that's right Bill is playing a free show tonight at Hartwood Acres - he's filling in for a cancelation by John Hiatt.

Maybe there would be a few less tramp stamps at Hartwood Acres?
I've never seen either Deasy or James solo, I did see Bill play once when he played with the Gathering Field but wasn't a big fan of their music.

I'll have to check them out if i get a chance.

Joey G. was playing in my neck of the woods Saturday night in some little community park in Jefferson Boro, I was originally going to to that show until I found out that the Clarks were playing at the Washington Fair.
