Claudio Trotta has announced details for the shows in Italy.

Presale for Milan starts Feb 09 at 11.00am CET. For Rome it's Feb 13 at 11.00am.

Here are the prices. I guess "Posto unico" means GA.

So the confirmed European dates so far are:

May 19, 2016 - Lisbon, Rock in Rio

May 27, 2016 - Dublin, Croke Park

July 03, 2016 - Milan, San Siro

July 16, 2016 - Rome, Circo Massimo

I hate the piecemeal approach to the shows. Just announce them all and be done with it. Happens every bloody tour

Rock fans will have to fork out an average of €100 to see the Boss live in Croke Park this summer.

Ticket prices for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were revealed this evening.

Bruce is set to play at GAA HQ on the weekend of May 27/29 as part of ‘The River Tour 2016’.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, February 11 at 9.00am.

They are priced at  €65.45, €116 or €131 for seating and €98.50 for standing tickets.

Tickets will be limited to six per person. They will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and online.

The concerts are expected to take place on Friday and Saturday, although a third may be added on Sunday if demand warrants it.

Leinster have fixed the Wexford v Kildare (senior football) and Dublin v Wexford (senior hurling) quarter-finals for Croke Park on Sunday, May 29 but are now facing a change of schedule.

It’s understood that the two games will be brought forward by a week to May 22, rather than putting them back to June 5. That’s unlikely to please the counties, as the fixtures were made last November and would have been factored into local club schedules.

The winners of the Dublin-Wexford hurling tie play Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final on June 11 while the Kildare-Wexford football winners play Longford/Offaly/Westmeath in the semi-final on June 26.

Three concerts were held in Croke Park last year, without impacting on the GAA programme.

It's widely rumoured here that there will be at least two shows in Dublin on that weekend. If you remember that he sold out five shows in Ireland in 2013 (I don't know what the total attendance would have been, but probably c.200,000), then two shows in an 80,000 capacity venue wouldn't be outlandish.

I'd rather see this show in an arena. He's going to have to work his socks off to make The River work in a stadium setting, where at least 50% of the audience will be casual listeners hoping to hear Born in the USA ten times. It will be interesting to see the results.

If this were an ordinary tour I'd have no hesitation going to two nights, but I'm on the fence about going to more than one for a show where at least 22 of the songs will be repeated. How have you guys in the US found multiple shows so far?

Great point about the stadium crowd I'm undecided about going and haven't missed a tour since 1981 but half the crowd won't know most of the songs and will just be getting p***ed and yapping

its an indoor show where the true fans would apply for tickets

plus £65 to see him in Leeds Arena now about double that is a bit steep

I really hope the rest of the shows are announced before the first go on sale!

Dream on - Milan goes on sale tomorrow!

I doubt there will be any more shows announced tonight.

Have to agree and it's not just the unfamiliar songs. Had to endure a group of girls standing next to us at Hyde Park yakking away with their backs to the stage whilst he was singing The River. I am fortunate to be able to spend my time between the UK and Australia and it was great seeing him indoors at Brisbane (the setlist certainly helped!). But unfortunately it does look like it will be stadiums. At least put us out of our misery and announce all dates... and I'm sure I'll cave in and buy tickets!

Hope Rome is that easy.

Just read the the general info for Dublin: Croke Park info

I find this point especially interesting:

-Under 14’s are not allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied!!

On the bright side, this gives us a better chance of getting in. And I really don’t care how many people there is behind me ;-D

In the past it has seemed like ticket prices have been kept down. This has been changed a bit for this tour (It still isn’t Sting or The Rolling Stones level, which in Denmark has very high priced), but in combination with the large crowds, this is a bit more profit oriented way to go.

All in all, I clearly prefer this to smaller venues like MSG in NY, where a large portion of the tickets are sold upfront. With all tickets sold via the internet is it difficult to affect your luck getting a ticket. But it is still possible to que and get a good spot upfront, and I guess I prefer this to risking being left without a ticket!

^^ well, in that case there'd be no need to go to the concert at all - Stadium Show and the same old tired setlist we have already heard a gazillion times? *yawn*

I'm only interested because I've never seen a River show and no longer willing to spend huge amounts of money to get the occasional rarity. Oh well, we will see...

I really enjoyed the show last week at MSG.  But I don't feel any need to go more than once.  I really question whether The River will work in an outdoor stadium. The River is my favorite album, but a lot of it is dark, and quiet.  These guys are seasoned pros of course, but I can't help think they're going to be sick to death playing The River night after night by the time this tour reaches Europe.

I still think this whole tour is a bit of a head-scratcher.

What do you think? Will he be playing The River or not? The Dutch promotor writes on its website 'what the setlist will be remains a surprise, but it will be a guaranteed sing-a-long'.... Whatever that means.

That he is trying to sell tickets on what is one of the worst places to have a concert with a setlist as The River Tour.

'I wanna be where the bands are'

Good to know Bobby. Got locked out of the Friday night in Dublin, but they've just announced a second show for the Sunday night and am sorted for that. Not sure if I'll actively seek a ticket for Friday now. I have no doubt I'll be able to get one outside on the night for a pretty cut price.

In case anyone is trying to buy tickets for The Hague: Good luck!

There is already a queue on Ticketmaster.nl and it is still 13 minutes before tickets go on sale.
"Approximate waiting time: more than 60 minutes"

So when has Germany annexed Portugal? I'm confused!

In other news: There are tickets for The Hague available, I just had to wait over an hour to find out. 86 or 87 € (before fees I think, didn't buy one)
