Even though they're different as music arrangements and as lyirical theme, I see some analogies beetwen RN and BITUSA.

First, they're both manifest-songs, shouting out a strong message.
Second, they have the same structure: they start and end up with a sequence of chords that never change and the rhythm is continuative with nearly no pause
Third, the main moment of both songs is repeated many times, as if Bruce wants to put the message deep inside the brain of the listener.
Fourth, they both are the first songs of their respective albums and used as opener in the live shows (both work so well in this role)
Last, they were both misunderstood, at least when they were launched. BITUSA had been considered a sort of American hymn even if it was and it is about the tragic picture of post-war life drawn by a veteran from Vietnam. When it came out, RN has been described as a song against the bad music broadcasted by radios instead it's about the lack of communication and the research of connection beetwen people.
