06/07/1981: In Birmingham, Pete Townshend makes a guest appearance in the encores of the first show of the last European stand of the River Tour. In the main set, Bruce performs "" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Drive All Night" for the last time for 24 years.

Drive All Night is one of my sentimental favorites.  Maybe it shouldn't be now that we've split up.  hmm what do you think?

Read the 2nd new clip, it's enlightening." rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">

Re:  Second article -

If it’s 1981, Bruce’s ‘chef’ would have been none other than the late great Obie Dziedzik.  Official cook through the BITUSA tour.

Obediah "Obie" Dziedzic (May 6, 1951, Long Branch, NJ – May 1, 2017, Lakewood, NJ) of Neptune was Steven Van Zandt's assistant and Bruce's #1 Fan. She was also a pivotal force behind the Sound of Asbury Park. There was always a special bond between Dziedzic and Springsteen, even in later years. When Springsteen celebrated his 63rd birthday in 2012 with a cake at a rainy MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in front of 60,000 fans, he gave the first slice to Dziedzic, who was in the front row. “The first piece goes to Obie, our first fan, right there. Obie, we love you,” Springsteen said. "Obie was following us since we were 16 — we love you Obe!"
