Old Flynn Compilation European Tour Question

To all,

I haven't posted on here in about 15 years. My bad...anyway, I was going through my garage and found my old box of Springsteen boot CD's that have been salvaged since my divorce many years ago. It brought back many memories of the songs I loved by The Boss and I listened to many of them over the past few weeks. I remembered one set in particular that I could no longer find, perhaps it was one that I removed prior to my divorce in expectation that my ex would dispose of them all for spite. Anyway, if I recall it was a "Flynn" compilation of a European tour and I don't remember the year. The song most unforgettable was "The River" with Suzy Tyrell playing her violin. Amazing. If any of you may be able to shed some light on both the song and the compilation and how I may be able to get my hands on another copy of the set I would be forever indebted to you all.

Flynn did those for every tour and some tours he broke up into parts. I'm sure a lot of folks around here have these including me as I have all of Flynn's great Comps. Since you're sure it was a show in Europe, if I were you I'd use Brucebase to try and narrow your search down a bit more.

You can look at Song Count by Album or you can just look by song and narrow it down by those in Europe. The River has been played 684 times. If you click on Performances, you'll find every Venue, city, state and or country. If it's a great show than it may be an archive release and you can read the great essay's by Eric Flannigan to see if a solo by Sooze is mentioned.

He wants Flynn's 2003 European Tour Compilation. The River isn't on the 1999 EU set and Soozie wasn't with the band that tour. The next Flynn EU compilation isn't until 2012, during Chriso's 15 year absence. Detective work, Oats!

I can upload it to a site for you to download, but not until Monday. I am away at a friend's wedding. Perhaps Oats can do it before then.
