Did you know that Frank Caliendo is the guy who does the terrific Madden impression ?
Somebody should give that guy his own show.
His last name isn't "TV"?
Shit, piss, fuck. Night Night.
Pressure is on in Yankeeland
Steinbrenner: It's win or else for Torre
FOXSports.com, Updated 1 hour ago
George Steinbrenner has kept quiet for most of the season, but he sounded off in a big way Saturday night.
The Yankees owner told The Record of North Jersey that manager Joe Torre will likely be fired if the Yankees don't rally to beat Cleveland.
"His job is on the line. I think we're paying him a lot of money. He's the highest-paid manager in baseball, so I don't think we'd take him back if we don't win this series," said Steinbrenner.
The Yankees currently trail the best-of-5 series 0-2.
It would be the third straight first-round exit for the Yankees, whose flop vs. the Tigers last season nearly led to Torre's firing.
He also had some choice words for umpire Bruce Froemming, who allowed Game 2 to continue despite an infestation of Lake Erie gnats.
"The umpire was full of (expletive)."
As for Alex Rodriguez, Steinbrenner hopes to keep the slugger around a while longer.
"I think we'll re-sign him. I think he's going to have a good run the rest of the (postseason). I think he realizes New York is the place to be, the place to play. A lot of this (postseason) is laying on his shoulders, you know, but I think he's up to it."
Torre better hope so.

Can Torre collect unemployment?
For the first time this season, I'm glad the Sox got rid of Trot.
So all in all, these Divisional play-offs could go down as a huge bust. Potential for all series to be sweeps.
Buh bye, Roger.
Too funny.
Fuckin' Jeter's killing us...Arrghh!!!!!!
Bwahahahahahahaha!!
Bwahahahahahahaha!!
5-4-3. That's clutch.

Judging from his first AB tonight I'll bet he don't miss ya one bit either
Have we started the Yankees Suck chant yet?
I feel a stampede of ostriches coming.
Now that the Yanks have a 5-3 lead I'm guessing A Rod will get a meaningless single his next time up.
ur jelus.
If Damon had to hit that home run, they could have at least focused a camera on his wife for 30 seconds, or so.
Now Jesus isn't missing Beantown either
Hazy pisses away his Phillies misery.
He must have a monster size bladder. That creek could become a tributary of the Schuylkill.
Ya gotta love a man who admires his own work.
I think I stepped in that yesterday.
Axel wouldn't have.
How's that Trot thing working out for you?
Hmmmmmmm. We shall see.
Yup, you're still retarded.

"It's what he does, darlin'."
It's his Springsteen legacy.

This is after he told me the day before, at Friday's tailgate, to move further away so no one steps in it when I had to go.

The Tribe gets a break on the "hit by pitch" bunt. Ball caught all bat
You know, these fucking announcers. First they say Mussina has NEVER pitched in relief, then someone must rememebered the 2003 ALCS.
Is it early Ivan?

IF the Yanks don't win this thing, Indian fans will be grateful to Torre that he he didn't start Hughes in a game. We can not touch that guy. And now he won't be available for tonight.

Some announcer just said Yankee stadium is as quiet as it ever will be in October. I got a good feeling its going to be even quieter starting tomorrow.

Well you posted it 3 times nimrod
cause the site is slow as molasses.
Anyway, the umpireing is horrible. Now they missed Matsui being interfered with. I hope this wakes their asses up.

First bitching about the announcers now the umpires
Who's next?
Try this on for size, The Tribe is batting .500 (12 for 24) with 2 outs and RISP
Chew on that

He swung. We even now, Ivan?
yes, I've seen all the broken bat bloopers
It's the 2nd inning, and Paul Byrd is pitching, it's a matter of time.
2 innings in an hour and a half. Is there a curfew in NYC?
Question - can A-Rod end an inning by striking out while in the on deck circle?
Out of your element again?
This should be good.
I know baseball, I was just checking to see if he was unclutch enough to make that happen.
I expected better.
ur jelus joe. arOd WILL b the MVP. u dont no baseball

My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
Ill never look into your eyes...again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...strangers hand
In a...desperate land
Lost in a roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane

7-0 Buffalo
I know that one
He may have well not left the on-deck circle that time.

Speaking of time ...
Why the hell is this game moving so slowly? The pace is awful.

Romo has thrown two interceptions - one for a TD.

Looks like I can cross Keeper of my Christmas list this year.
How many? Too?
Sad thing is that I am relatively sober.

Because it is Torre's last game and he wants to savor the moment.

I can't help it. Tony Romo pisses my off, he is on every other commercial
Yankees don't have any boxes of bugs they can unleash, do they? Like tiny little crabs that scurry around the the field, crawling up visiting players legs?
That might be helpful right now.

You ever see the big cucarachas in the Bronx?
More fucking seeing-eye basehits. Pitch wasn't even a strike.

It's called Wee Willie Keeler baseball
"Hit 'em where they ain't"
Indians have been doing that crap for a month and a half, Ivan. They're in a zone.

Sizemore hit one where they ain't
We've all seen Byrd wilt this season. But these 20+ minute Indian at-bats have to help him rest.
Damon didn't hit, but it's time we get to see his Mrs..
Nise.
By the way, if anyone wants to watch baseball on the computer while you're watching football, type "Channel - 27362" in the address line in Sopcast.

Jon Fag Jovi is at the Yankee Game.
Another great umpireing call. Fucking they've outdone themselves tonight.
Little old 6-4-3 right now would break their spirit.
4-6-3 works!
Jetah the rally killer
That was damn quick, jefe. How'd you do that?
Joe Torre should start cleaning out his desk...
Indians need more runs. Posada, Matsui, and Cano can bust it out quickly.
No lead is safe.
Kyle Farnsworth = Nook LaLoosh personified

wow, look at Tony Gwynn...
How about a salad?
How about a salad?
The chubby guy knows his stuff about hitting, though.
Indeed he does
This Ronan Tynan dude freaks me out
He's to the Yanks what Kate Smith used to be to the Philadelphia Flyers. They pull him out of mothballs when they really need a win.
Where's Robert Merrill when you need him?
he's dead
ARod just did something. Where's kclub?

Oh God, I fear Joe Torre just may have taken his LAST walk to the mound.
For the Yanks, maybe. He'll be on half a dozen team's short list if George dumps him.
