I am not usually one to go off on that shit, but the 3rd strike to Howard was horsecrap. That being said, he probably would have swung and missed at the next pitch anyway.

If Rollins doesn't do anything early this team is cooked. Rockies did a nice job of keeping 1-4 locked down today, deserved it and we'll just try and get it back tomorrow.

Still think this thing is gonna go 5.

Does the mediocrity start in 1981?
Speedball...
Your baseball posts the last few days have sucked. If someone woke out of a time bubble and read your posts they would think that no wild card team has ever won a playoff series and that there was no World Series MVP after 1980.

Here's the rest of the list...

1981 Ron Cey, Pedro Guerrero, Steve Yeager Los Angeles Dodgers
1982 Darrell Porter St. Louis Cardinals
1983 Rick Dempsey Baltimore Orioles
1984 Alan Trammell Detroit Tigers
1985 Bret Saberhagen Kansas City Royals
1986 Ray Knight New York Mets
1987 Frank Viola Minnesota Twins
1988 Orel Hershiser Los Angeles Dodgers
1989 Dave Stewart Oakland Athletics
1990 Jos? Rijo Cincinnati Reds
1991 Jack Morris Minnesota Twins
1992 Pat Borders Toronto Blue Jays
1993 Paul Molitor Toronto Blue Jays
1994
No World Series
1995 Tom Glavine Atlanta Braves
1996 John Wetteland New York Yankees
1997 Liv?n Hern?ndez Florida Marlins
1998 Scott Brosius New York Yankees
1999 Mariano Rivera New York Yankees
2000 Derek Jeter New York Yankees
2001 Johnson, Schilling Arizona Diamondbacks
2002 Troy Glaus Anaheim Angels
2003 Josh Beckett Florida Marlins
2004 Manny Ram?rez Boston Red Sox
2005 Jermaine Dye Chicago White Sox
2006 David Eckstein St. Louis Cardinals

Care to argue that Scott Brosius, or even Ray Knight to dispel any notion of favoritism, is a stellar player?
Just when they think they have all the answers, I come and change all the questions.

WTF is a time bubble? Even if they did, before they went in, there was no such thing as the wild card so there.

Oh and 2 mediocrties out of the 25 years there. Oh, you WERE right. Shit, I'll even give you Yeager, Eckstein and Borders
