He sounds great but something about that clip makes me cringe a bit. Not sure why.

Feel the same! Music is great, singing is great, but I would not need these videos.
Premiere of the full video tomorrow (Oct 14) at 06am CEST on youtube:
I like 'Night shift' a lot more than I did like 'Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)'.
Is anything known about the musicians in the videos? Some I know (horns, Soozie), most I do not know. Are they playing also on the album?
Well whoever that drummer may be: geez he is driving me mad! Not his drumming but his moves are, well I don‘t know. Looks like they are electrocuting him…
I really prefer the „gentleman“ calm way of drumming which Max does.
But as long as Bruce is ok with it, we’ll in the end it’s his choice and who am I to tell him off…

The dad dancing at the end.....

On Wikipedia is some info. At least Drummer and base are missing. Happy to hear, that there will be two duets with Sam Moore.
Brucebase Wiki has the same amount of info.
After watching the entire video, 2 things come to mind:
1. His voice and the band sound fantastic. If this were just radio, I would love it.
2. His entire mannerisms are borderline embarrassing. The campy hand gestures and (I know this part isn't really fair) the image of cultural appropriation (white man singing a soul song with the black musicians as support) just makes it seem off.

I guess it's Bruce's "acting". He is a bad actor.
When he is really performing (singing live), it is great to watch. In these videos he is acting, not performing.
The same was true for the movies/TV series he was in. Lillyhammer and High Fidelity come to my mind.
Indeed the acting is terrible, it's NOT how he really acts on stage.
However he gets older, so less fluently moving, keep that in mind too.

So Ron Aniello is playing everything except horns and obviously singing? That's impressive! Although, I've no idea what "main artist" means.

That's exactly what the music on both of the tracks sounds like, unfortunatley. Soul-less. What a pity, since I really enjoy the vocals.
