its easy & fast to DL just one track of same song from diff sources.

To do that from every Magic show is about 100 x 4 version = 400 songs to download. Maybe it is then easier to ask here. Not everyone has the time and the fast connection to do that. For someone who has a lot of shows it mustnt be that hard to mention 3 of 4 good recordings.

I can remember the time that fans were willing to help each other here.

First of all, there are NOT 4 versions of every show. Most shows have one version, and maybe a second. Very few have more than that.

Second, what's good to me may sound like crap to you, it's all subjective. Opinions are like assholes, we all have one.

Third, we around here know NBF89 for many years. He has after all the tutoring he has received the ability and know-how to download one track from any torrent he is interested in(and it would be alot eeasier if he learned ABMS). While I like him very much, and we have pitched-caught setlists via text a few times, he is a bit lazy.

And - NBF89: If you don't need that many, releases from Crystal Cat and Ev2 is usually a good place to start. The two from NYC last fall, London last fall etc. See Jungleland.

"NBF89, whilst i appreciate you may be somewhat time limited in your busy life, it would be best for you to download a track from each show, either by ABMS or Torrent (I know you havce had tutorials) and judge yourself. As you are probably aware sound quality is a subjective issue and depending on ear quality or preferred listening device differing results may be obtained. As your ears are a newer issue than the majority on this board i would politly suggest that you conduct your own sound survey and report results here I'm sure if you compare to the CC versions blancos would appreciate your efforts also .
I trust this responce is loving, caring enough as not to offend your delicate nature and not to disturb those on the spl with a liberal diposition.

Which BT client do you use? I can tell you how to do it using Azureus. I'm, sure others can tell you if you use something else.

My original reply, in my humble opinion, was not inpoilite. It was factual. NBF89 is a lazy chuff It's not difficult to hear (unless your deaf - in which case you wouldn't want to d/l bootlegs anyway!)so it would be easy to come to your own conclusions as to sound quality. As NBF89 does download (if he wants to know how to do it with utorrent i gladly talk him through it) he can do it himself. I fully understand people who can't download asking this question. After all not everybody wants to trade for every version out there (don't understand there logic though ) and many want 1 quality recording. (again depending on what you like it could be a Cat, Flynn, Ev2 or a Godfather (sorry Erno and Zeke - couldn't resist ))

Anyway. End of.
Wait for the CC or Flynn compilations or Ev2 releases. Then you know (usually) that you have the best versions of the songs in the best sound quality that circulates amongst us mortals.

Not really but historicaaly the spl was always more brash, more 'interesting'. Always helpfull of course if asked in the right way (BTW I use utorrent. if you need help just pm me )

In the top listing, mark the torrent you want just some files from.

Then click the Files tab on the bottom, mark the files you DONT'T want, rightclick and set don't download.

I wasn't taking 'potshots' or being off hand. I merely called him a lazy chuff for wanting others to hold his hand and tell him what to download.
