This reminds me when some rags during President Kennedy's administration reported his many affairs with women. Of course, most didn't believe it, including me, but it did turn out to be true. I can remember my late aunt showing me one of these rags with the story and I asked her "do you really believe the stuff this rag prints" and she said "yes, I believe this story".

I think by the overall silence on this story, it's pretty clear that he was at or near the top of a list. If it turns out to be true, I think it will go down in history as the story of the biggest scumbag ex-VP candidate in the history of politics.
