How to get DVD-Bootlegs?

Hey there,

first of all, there's really a lot of information here about audio/video from Bruce & ESB concerts. Thanks to everybody for creating/sharing all this stuff.

I'm new to the business, so I struggle a little bit how to download or to trade bootlegs the right way...

In specific, I'm looking for 2 DVDs:

- The Rising Tour, Munich, 10.06.2003 : I've found a few video clips on YouTube in a really good quality. So I thought, maybe the whole concert is available as DVD? But I couldn't find it on JUNGLELAND. Any other ideas?

- Wrecking Ball Tour, Milano, 03.06.2013 : A lot of clips on YouTube, especially a DVD project by 'dvddubbingguy'. Is the whole DVD somewhere available?

I'm already registered on JUNGLELAND, and BitTorrent is set up. Was looking for DIME, but since registration is on hold for the moment, it is not an option for me. I read about ABMS, but I don't exactly know how to use ist... I prefer BitTorrent.

Any information about the DVDs of the respective concerts, how to trade, or how to download/upload/share files for the community, everything is greatly appreciated. Is there also a way of buying DVDs right from its creators? And trading - do you still do it the traditional way (mail delivery)?

I was also on lostintheflood.com, but seems to be outdated (Thanks Catherine).

Lostintheflood.com has up to date ABMS listings, I keep it updated. It's only a week or two behind,90% of the stuff uploaded to ABMS the last few months I uploaded.

Fan made or bootleg label DVDs aren't as plentiful as they used to be. The advent of Youtube, and crackdowns by the Feds(for DMCA copyright violations) have virtually ended them in the US. And it's cost-prohibitive to buy the equipment/tickets.etc and try to smuggle it in.

AS for the shows you're looking for the 2013 show has a good chance of seeing the light of day if DVDDubbingGuy is involved. Actually I believe they give everyone a camera and tripod as part of the ticket when you see a show in Italy. There is a Munich '03 DVD, I have it here in my house somewhere, it was posted to ABMS back in 2005, although I've never watched it. Where you located? I can mail you a copy if you'd like if you're in the US.

Great explanation, now I know how it works.

Well, I became interested in Bootlegs over the last couple of months. Was in Milano live in concert, and since then I need 'a daily dose of BRUCE LIVE'. I think you know what I mean . I used to listen to studio albums, but since then, I prefer bootlegs.

I can understand that it's not easy to create/share those bootlegs, due to copyright and - it's a enormous amount of work the bring such a project on the way (not to mention equipement/money).

Will try to get myself more into ABMS... haven't tried it yet.
