just for fun, some unreleased (AFAIK) teasers

A rather short band version of "The Promise" - does definitely not sound as from 1978. Maybe a soundcheck or rehearsal or something. Is this performance listed in Brucebase ? As far as I know there's only three full band live performances of "The Promise", 1978/05/23, 2010/12/07 and 2012/04/01. Please give some more hints (-:
Anders
Rare Full Band version...
IEM recording... guessing from soundcheck (lack of audience applause)
Putting those 2 things together...
There is no circulating IEM of a full band version of The Promise.. but the likely hood of the 4/1/2012 Verizon Center, Washington, DC show being captured (and not circulating)... makes this my guess..
good detective work
IEM - correct
Soundcheck - correct
Missed this, transfer expired. Can somebody re share.
Thank you
Many thanks
sorry, i missed this and it is a top 10 show of all time for me, seeing my favorite song full band. i'd give my left nut for this show in full iem splendor. . . so could someone repost again, please!
Thanks,
So to summarize, this is a IEM soundcheck version of the Promise from April 1, 2012 in Washington. If so I need to update Brucebase ;-)
nope, no one has guessed the show yet. its IEM soundcheck for sure, but the guessing game of where and when is still open
It doesn't sound like Max but sounds like Roy. Wild guess is rehearsal at the Fallon show following release of the box set.
nope
So that leaves Light of Day '11 (not mentioned in the soundcheck entry), the Grushecky shows (can they afford IEMs?) and the Carousel show? Unless that is Max...or it's not around the release of the box set.
I guess I'll go with Grushecky Soldiers and Sailors 2010
nope, its euro show
Could it be the Seville rehearsal, May 12, 2012?
yes, I think it was that one, well done
I will hunt out the recordings as there is some more archived away in the video /audio archive
The Carousel Show would have been my guess.
They had their recorder too close to the receiver. Picks up static everytime there's a card packet write.
