It's been five years since 'C' passed, doesn't seem that long.

RIP Clarence, we miss the big man, as always to the left of the stage. The E Street Band playing which ever song Bruce had sequenced in his set list; it was magic. Still I know nephew Jake must have been taught the sax so well by C, so much so all the songs are indistinguishable from when his uncle played them. What did Bruce say after his death: C lives on in the band, it certainy does.

Man how time flies.
I remember him playing Jungleland in Frankfurt '09 as it was just yesterday. Pure Magic.
RIP Clarence.
As Bruce said in his eulogy:
"Clarence doesn’t leave the E Street Band when he dies. He leaves when we die."

Great photo and memory. I like that you both have the same tough guy look goin' on.
Yes its an age since Clarence passed on. Whilst he'll always be missed, his playing lives on in Jake. The same with Charlie Giordano, in place of Danny since 2008! Its great for us all to look back at dvds of old shows, when we had the old E Street Band line up. Ta for the pics and video of Clarence.
And I will never forget those tears in Clarence eyes in Gothenburg 2008, playing the Sax Solo during Drive all Night (first time in Europe since 28 years I guess, https://www.youtube.com/watch?...youtu.be&t=3m43s) and a few days later his farewell on stage in Barcelona. He did not want left the stage....
Miss you C!
I believe we'll hear a song about him soon.

It is Oats, get a bit emotional thinking about it. He was the coolest of cool and so friendly...
Hi Oates, a good picture of you with Clarence, and a real memory to treasure for ever.
That's Hazy with 'C', not me.
