I just happened to catch on VH1 classic (some 90's program) last night Bruce playing this during the JOAD tour. They only showed this track and couldn't say where from.
Yeah, I liked the 2006 performances of All the Way Home, Long Time Comin', and Maria's Bed. These songs should translate well to the E Street Band, too, but of course Bruce is pretty much ignoring any album they didn't play on during the last two tours.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind resting Promised Land or Godforbid Born To Run and seeing what one of these would sound like.

Maybe he could give at least Waitin' On A Sunny Day, Lonesome Day and The Rising a rest...
the reworking of Joad and Reason to believe are great; I wonder what he could do with the D&D stuff
This is something I keep thinking about: Why the hell does he not play any D&D songs with the ESB?? I?m pretty sure that some songs would really work full-band!!

Totally agree. He has obviously gone 'cold' on most of the WOAD material so it would be interesting to hear some of the great songs from D&D given the ESB treatment in its place .... a soulful sax on Reno; maybe Nils solo on All The Way home; Roy's piano intro to Leah; Suzi's violin on All I'm Thinkin'About....
What surprises me most about the tour is that 'Paradise by the C' is not played during sign collection. Seems like an obvious number to play. Maybe it's too sax-heavy for Clarence? Then again, 'Raise Your Hand' is pretty sax-heavy too.
