I agree. One of the best songs he has ever written.

Don't mind me, my life is very confusing these days.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The taste of your voice reveals what before was unknown.
Do you ever dream of the world like I do?

Okay, the day after. I had a good night sleep and some time to think about this show. On paper it doesn?t look so bad. In reality.... it was. The stadium is great. The Spanish audience is terrific. Never seen anything like that. They sure know how to have a party. A big hand for that.

But.....

I know one thing for sure now. Do not EVER bring your wife to your work. Does your plumber do that? Do you think his work will be better if he does? By bringing the redhead we had to listen to songs like Brilliant Disguise and Tunnel of Love. They sure made the show into a rollercoaster and i didn?t like this ride. It seems like whenever he brings the girl, he can?t play with the boys anymore. So another lesson: do not play with your wife (music that is).

The sound was horrible. Even in the pit. The pit was very crowded. But than again: with a lot of these nice people, that wasn?t to bad :-)

No good at all? We had great redentions of Night and of course Jungleland. But hey, the last one is always getting me emotional. And ofcourse there was Summertime Blues (spontanious Amsterdam version is still much more fun), 7 nights to rock and Twist and Shout...

This was the last one for me this tour. Just three, to little i know. Just wished the last one would be better.

Goodnight, good luck. One, two, powershift...

One of the poorer shows of the tour, not that there have been many, but this is in the bottom 3, less powerful than San Sebastian, both in sound and performance, Tunnel works great as an opener, but it killed the show around the half way point, Clarence asleep during Badlands was funny.

Very little chemistry between Patti and Bruce these days, it looks an act if you ask me, and Cover Me"? well I think that's either a planted sign or Bruce taking the piss out of his long term die hard fans. To be rutally honest the show would be better at 2 and a half hours of quality, than stretched out shows just really for the sake of it.

Oh well we await greatness in Barcelona
This was my 5th show of the Euro summer tour, the first outside the UK and the first with Patti. Definately a different vibe on stage altho my main gripes would have been sound quality, very bassy,no high end early on, I was stood in the pit and it was definately noticeable. On the plus side, the stadium, the people, the weather, the late start was brilliant and finishing at 1.00 am, amazing, it was the first time i've been outside and it felt like an indoor arena. Great to hear TOL & Brilliant disguise havn't heard them for 20 yrs Nils guitar work on TOL was special, Cover me, 7 nights to rock & Summertime Blues, none of which he did in UK.
I was knackered I don't know how he does it, the voice is under pressure but still he gets on with it. First time I've seen him pull a dance partner for DITD for ages.Clerence missing his solo had Bruce & Steve in stitches and Bruce gettin his radio mike disconnected on the guitar when he went in the crowd, had Steve & Gary laughing.
If this was your first show of the summer, you would undoubtedly lap it up, the Spanish fans and media loved it, as I did, can't wait for Barca on Saturday, hope I recover in time.

I think they are the sons of Roy Bittan of I'm not mistaken
