The nominations for the 2025 Grammys were announced today, and two E Streeters are competing (technically) against each other.
Steve Van Zandt earned a Grammy nomination for Best Music Film for Stevie Van Zandt: Disciple (Steven Van ZandtBill Teck, video director; Robert Cotto, David Fisher & Bill Teck, video producers). Technically, he is up againstBruce Springsteen, who was featured in The Greatest Night In Pop, (Various Artists)-the “We Are The World” documentary alongside Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Dylan and more.
Additionally, the Record of the Year category also includes what’s called the final Beatles song, “Now and Then.”
Also nominated are Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross‘ Challengers soundtrack for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
The 2025 Grammys will air live from Los Angeles Feb. 2 on CBS and Paramount+.
