David Crosby offers to lend "harmonies" to Neil Young & Crazy Horse shows

Neil Young and David Crosby in 2013; Steve Jennings/WireImageThe news of Neil Young & Crazy Horse's first shows in nearly four years has reached at least one of his former band mates.

David Crosby reached out via Twitter to E-Street band member Nils Lofgren -- who's confirmed he'll be part of the Crazy Horse lineup -- to offer to lend a vocal hand.

Crosby tweeted to Lofgren, "Please let me know if you want some harmonies," to which Nils replied, "Yes and thanks...can you DM your number?"

This could be the half-step toward a reunion that CSNY fans are hoping for. Both Crosby and Graham Nash have said that the current extreme political climate might provide an excellent common ground in which to reunite, but the Huffington Post says Neil Young told them last month, “I don’t plan things like that. They either happen or they don’t. I don’t have a plan."

The Warnors Theatre still has tickets for Crazy Horse's two shows, ranging in price from $55 to $199.

The last shows Neil Young played with Crazy Horse were in August 2014.
