London on a bank holiday - doh

Depending on which side of London you are the Alban Arena is a good alternative. I've seen him there a couple of times, small venue and decent sound.

From twitter today:

Q: Any chances you’ll cross the Channel and play a few dates on the continent ?

Hopefully later in the year. I’m currently recording an album.

Q: Hello Mr any chance to have/see you here in Italy?

I’m certainly going to try after my album is finished.

I went to the St Albans show last night. Great playing as usual, and many good stories although surprisingly no Bruce songs. Also special mention to his talented collaborator, multi-instrumentalist and tap dancer Greg Varlotta. My only minor criticisms is that he could do with freshening the set up a bit and the slightly cheesy backing to Shine Silently.

He did say that he is working on a new album and hoping to return next year with a band.
