Bruce Springsteen has made his Broadway debut with Springsteen on Broadway, a solo show at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The sold out mega-hit is currently scheduled to run through February 3, 2018.

Good news for frustrated fans, as Michael Riedel reports tonight that "You read it here first: "Springsteen on Broadway" will extend its run past February, possibly even till June."

This stripped-down performance features only The Boss, his guitar and his piano in the ultimate evening for any Springsteen fan.

The creative team for Springsteen on Broadway includes Heather Wolensky(scenic design), Natasha Katz (lighting design) and Brian Ronan (sound design).

Bruce Springsteen's recording career spans over 40 years, beginning with 1973's 'Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ' (Columbia Records). He has released 18 studio albums, garnered 20 Grammys, won an Oscar, been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, received a Kennedy Center Honor, and was MusiCares' 2013 Person of the Year. Springsteen's memoir 'Born to Run' (Simon & Schuster) and its companion album 'Chapter and Verse' were released in September 2016, and he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in November last year. Springsteen's The River Tour 2016 was named the year's top global tour by both Billboard and Pollstar. 'Born to Run' was issued in paperback by Simon & Schuster on September 5.

For the love of god when will this madness end? Move on - make new music, not telling the same old stories, singing the same old songs, reading the same old parts from a book we have all read night after night after night to people lucky (and rich enough to pay $500 for a ticket) to get a ticket.

I get it - you live to perform, to be on stage, small or big, doesn't matter. You need the crowd, the audience. That was one of the things I got from your book. But given your age and the fact that your bandmembers need a rest from time to time, you need to do the "solo thing".

The Ghost Of Tom Joad and Devils And Dust were great albums and great tours - do something like that again if you feel like playing without a band.

Or do a tour like this

I agree as well but I get it.  He gets to perform on Broadway, get lots of accolades, make lots of money and go home each night.  Hard to fault the guy.  After listening to the one Broadway show that I have, it looks like a cool show to be at but it's not something that I would travel to NYC for, let alone pay $500 a ticket for (for the cheap seats).
