Here's a first look at "Springsteen on Broadway" - sort of.

It's a pic from Patti Scialfa's Instagram account  and it shows hubby Bruce Springsteen standing in front of  what appears to be a door at the Walter Kerr Theatre, where previews begin Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The Boss has a black shirt, tattered jeans and sunglasses. He looks like he just loaded some of the equipment in for the show himself. The door, which has the "Springsteen on Broadway" logo, is partially opened to reveal what looks to be a speaker cabinet.

Scialfa might be in the show herself as she accompanied the Boss on a couple of songs during a workshop performance of the show Friday, Sept. 22 at the Pollak Theatre on the campus of Monmouth University in West Long Branch. Or maybe it was a special bonus for the hometown audience?

In other "Springsteen on Broadway" news, Ticketmaster released a batch of codes to purchase tickets around 3 p.m. EST Tuesday, Sept. 26.

"It was a surprise to us all," said Peter Maimone of Howell. "I was one of the lucky ones after being locked out twice. A couple of other people got them but there are still a lot of people who don't have tickets. I'll take it."

Maimone, who already had a ticket to the show, transferred the pair to two fans who didn't have tickets. How many tickets and why the release are not known. A call to Ticketmaster was not returned by press time.

What was Springsteen doing Tuesday night? He was at the Brian Wilson concert at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. Wilson's social media accounts posted a pic of the two together backstage at the Basie.

"Bruce Springsteen makes it a point to see Brian when he's in New Jersey," read the caption of the posting.

It's true. Springsteen jumped on stage with Wilson at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel in 2015. No such encore at the Basie.

Before the Broadway show, Springsteen will play the closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games, Sept. 30, in Toronto. Bryan Adams, Kelly Clarkson and more will join Springsteen to close the games, in which wounded, injured and sick veterans from around the world compete in a variety of athletic events.

"Springsteen on Broadway" opens on Thursday, Oct. 12.
