Bruce Springsteen made a Brisbane boy's rock and roll dreams come true when he invited him to join him for a jam -- and tutoring -- session onstage at the Brisbane Entertainment Center in Australia.

The Boss invited Nathan Testa (who Springsteen joked was "the future of rock and roll) -- to perform "Growin' Up" in front of an enthusiastic crowd after he spotted his sign in the audience.

"You know it on guitar?" he asked. "Come on up."

Springsteen guitar tech Kevin Buell then handed the lad an acoustic guitar and the two shared a mic on the iconic song from Springsteen's 1973 debut album, Greetings From Asbury Park.

"Before we continue," the Boss said. "A lesson. When I was your age, I got my first guitar. I brought it home. I realized, it wasn't about how well you played it, but how good you looked doing it. So I got in front of the mirror and I tried some different poses."

He then struck some iconic moves in the ultimate rock and roll lesson.

Springsteen has been making fans happy down under. On Feb. 13, the singer held a private meeting with Adam Brooker, a fan who has a severe intellectual disability and learned to speak through Springsteen's lyrics.
