Happy birthday, Adele Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen’s mom celebrated her 93rd birthday Sunday, April 15, in a very Jersey rock ‘n’ roll kind of way — she saw the Eddie Testa Band at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park with her famous son.
The two danced to Testa and his crew for two songs and then the power went out in the Wonder Bar. More than 5,000 in the area also lost their power due to the storm that was hitting the Jersey Shore at the time.

The Springsteens stayed for an hour in the darkened Wonder Bar. JT Bowen, a former member of Clarence Clemons Red Bank Rockers, led the crowd in sing-alongs to “Stand by Me,” “Under the Boardwalk” and “My Girl.”
Springsteen’s girl, whose actual birthday is May 4, looked spry and seeing mom and son dance together was a “wonderful” thing, said an attendee.
Springsteen family members there included Sam Springsteen, Adele’s grandson and Bruce and Patti Scialfa’s son. Kevin Buell, Springsteen’s guitar tech and right hand man, was also there.
As was a big bag of gifts for mom.
Adele is a big Eddie Testa fan. She and her son danced to the Eddie Testa Band at the Patio Bar at Jack Baker’s Wharfside Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach last August.
