Bruce Collection available

I guess this is okay -- though I'm open to counterarguments -- as long as the offers do not go past the cost of shipping and blank discs.

Of coarse, I have an opinion.

Being one that recently shipped off all his own Bruce boots (came out to something like 300+ DVDRs), I feel I have the... ahem... "right" to voice it.

Anyone who wants to unload his/her collection on someone else, should take the "hit". There is no excuse for advertising "BRUCE COLLECTION FOR SALE". We dont do that here. Its all about sharing. (I ate the cost of the discs AND the postage, even though my freebie said otherwise - U2 one as well).

I dont agree with the "for sale" part of this.

(Discs are dirt cheap, and requiring reimbursement for your "summer cleaning" is wrong. The postage for the box I had to send was like $20 or so (it weighed approx 5Kg - 10 lbs). And that was from one country to another. Hardly something that NEEDS to be recouped. If the postage for you is more than that, someone is scaming someone.)

I don't think it's unreasonable to request the cost of shipping, but the discs... let your conscience be your guide.

You're talking about approx. $25 worth of blank disks, and that's being generous.

Just make it a freebie and wait for riverman to show up.

He's an OK person and trader. I've done trades with him in the past. Hell, whoever gets his stuff is getting some of my stuff. I wouldn't berate him, but I don't think he thought this through.

That makes me think of selling and thats not how its done here.
Discs are cheap now, unlike the good old days.
Just suck up the $20 buck for whoever you are going to collect next. No big deal
