Because we are such die hard fans and have brought his music to our children... we believe that Bruce's music transcends generations.

So you'd think because The Killers love his music, their fans would to but as we saw that's not the case. So... maybe his music will not transcend generations.

My kids consume music through youtube (youtube music).  Just browsing that site I see that:

Taylor Swift has 47.5 million subscribers.

P!nk has 11.6 million subscribers.

Rod Stewart has 3.6 million subscribers. 

Lizzo has 2.8 million subscribers.

Bruce Springsteen has 1.72 million subscribers.

Sam Hunt has 1.7 million subscribers.

John Mellencamp has 239,000 subscribers.



Going on the (probably false) assumption that the youtubemusic site skews younger, I am surprised that Bruce has as many subscribers as he does but he is certainly not as relevant as even P!nk is.
