Definently second that! I think it is the best-sounding (audience source) bootleg I have EVER heard! Just UNBELIEVABLE sound - and show - quality.
But then it was recorded in a theatre and not in a arena/ stadium...

Totally agree.

Personally, beside this one, I would recommend all the titles pre-1978, plus
Agora Night
Coliseum Night
Kansas City Night
Bloomington Night
Christic Night
Post 1992 there's a lot of good sounding stuff, it became more a matter of personal taste
I agree with lots of those choices listed above (Brixton and Kansas particularly).

However, one CC not listed here is a disc I always seem to go return to, time and again. USA Blues from the 92-93 tour.

Only a compilation as many know, but IMO, some of the recordings on that disc still rate as the best CC has ever put out. Certainly, far better than the vast majority in the subsequent 15-16 years.

Particularly Point Blank is the clearest bootleg recording I think I've ever heard, and a truly fantastic performance. It's absolutely pin sharp. I'm not sure if this could ever be beaten in terms of arena recordings. Some of the Joad boots were truly amazing, but those shows largely had a very quiet/submissive audience and as a consequence were a bit lifeless (Brixton excepted).

In terms of recordings in a 'proper' concert environment, for me, USA Blues stands head and shoulders above the rest. How those recordings were achieved in that quality is mind boggling to me. The pinnacle of audience recordings?

USA Blues is a good one. I think it's the only 92-93 tour material that I listen to.
