Question....

Since he started doing the full album shows a few years back. Has he done The River??

I think it's to long of one to do. with 20 songs that doesn't leave much room for any of the classics or for much of the WB album to be played.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey man, did you see that? His body hit the street with such a beautiful thud"

Yea I think it would be to long.He would want to do a few songs off WB and then of course BTR.That would put it at 23 24 songs depending on how many WB he would want to play....

I really don't see it happening.

Other question

Why hasn't he done Greetings or Wild yet??

He has gone back and fourth with Darkness and BTR and BITUSA.

I'm guessing he will pull out either Greetings or Wild real soon...Do like he did for the one show.where he said to honor or first time here will play...blah blah blah...

That's cool........

Yeah, it was. I think I was pretty lucky with the two MSG shows in 2009 when I first decided to travel from Europe to the states to see Bruce on home turf.

That's why I'm kind of surprised he hasn't done them yet. Has he played this venue yet or at least town/city? If so when was their first time there?

BTR Tour Darkness Tour???

HT tour

He might use that as a reason to play a full album.

Maybe not Tomorrow....but look for either one of those to pop up any time now.Rose has been early the last few shows. Maybe because he's seeing how the crowd reacts to it being early for an album show....NEVER KNOW !!!!!

The one thing that has eluded me....

And will never come true now.

Seeing Bruce and the E Street Band in Jersey...or even NYC.

Even if it was presented to me....I wouldn't do it now.

I KNOW PRETTY STUPID OF ME....

BUT check the screen name....

there's a reason it's

Hannover will be my only show this year and I'm really looking forward to it. If it's an album show I'd love to hear Darkness. If not I hope for songs from the so far underplayed albums (e.g. Magic).

I was thinking about that too, he dosen't need to rework _that_ many songs to actually be able to play Nebraska from start to finish now.

The E Street Band has allready tackled alot of the songs on this tour. Highway Patrolman sounded pretty good the one time they played it last year, didn't it? The Magic Tour version of Reason To Believe is great, Johnny 99 and Open All Night would ensure it wouldn't get boring, and I'm sure they could almost play Atlantic City in their sleep, don't want to hear that though. For Mansion on the Hill, I would love if they brought back the Reunion tour arrangement. Bruce and the band would need to work a little on the title track, Used cars, My father's house and possibly State Tropper (2005 arrangement?) and there you go!

That being said, we all know it ain't gonna happend though.

Have a great time! Hope the show will be everything you hope for and maybe even a little more!

My buddies wife at work works for the  beer distributor for Washington St...If it's beer and it's for Washington she handles it before going to the smaller companies.

Anyway a few years ago she told him about getting a ton of Das Boot in for promotions at stores and bars...

He snagged 6 of them from her and he gave me one.

It took a few tries....like I cared  .... but I did it.

First show in Hannover, so I don't expect anything special like full Nebraska, TOL, WIESS, Greetings. 7 Songs from BITUSA at least ;-)

Just got home from Hannover.

Great, high energetic show from begin to end clocking in at 3h18min. Longest show I've witnessed so far. Bruce was in great mood. Great crowd (even the Sunny Day kid did a good job). 5 Requests (My love will not let you down, Drift away, Atlantic City, Jack of all trades, Roll of the dice). Bruce drank 2 beers tonight. 2 girls on stage during Dancing. One of them was allowed to play his acoustic guitar.

Highlights for me: Atlantic City, Light of day, Open all night, Murder Inc., Drift away and Roll of the dice with Bruce on acoustic and Roy on piano.

And now good night to you all.

just isn't cutting it no more.

I could be another month before I end up on the table to be operated on...

I think you need some glasses ;-) ! There was a guy with him on stage playing acoustic guitar !

Was a great show for my silver anniversary.

Greetings from Kassel, Hesse

We sit here stranded, though we're all doin' our best to deny it

Anyway, a mighty fine show. Of course nothing compared to the Paris shows last year, but they're pretty hard to top. So, a few thoughts:

- Opening with LOHAD was pretty cool, I was expecting something like Out in the Street or Badlands

- If you count LOHAD and American Land he did 7 songs from WB, he must have finally remembered what the tour is called

- Only three songs from BITUSA! I thought he would play safe in a town he never played before, but he made a nice mix of new and old stuff

- On the other hand 3 songs from Nebraska was 3 more than I'd thought. And since I liked the Seeger Sessions, Open all Night was great fun

- Drift Away is one of my favorite covers he did, so hearing it was awesome. I just wished the horns were a little bit higher in the mix, but it was a shock hearing it anyway. And the request sign and Bruce's reaction was just hilarious.

- I know he got beer from the audience in other shows, but I've never seen it before. And I don't know if he drank two beers anywhere (well, one and a half actually, and he certainly spilled most of it anyway), a funny performance of Spirit all in all.

On the whole a great show, 3:20 was certainly more than expected, and no rain was a nice change considering how shitty the weather was around here the last, well actually 6 months.

At Parken he played Loose Ends and at Herning he played Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street. Apart from being sign requests these songs had another thing in common: it was the same guy who made the sign for both songs. That's pretty good: getting 2 out of 2 sign-reguests. And whats his secret? He's a friend of mine and and while waiting outside Boxen at Herning he told me how's it's done. His request has to meet 3 conditions:

1) It's gotta be a song he hasn't heard live before (he has heard a lot)

2) It's gotta be a song rarely played ................but

3) It's gotta be a song already played on the tour - not often, but .... see 2)

And that's how you stand a fair chance of getting a sign-request played. Requests for The Way or NYC Serenade ........... well ......... don't be disapointed if he ignores them.

Very smart.Very smart indeed.

All ready played...so it's known to the band....

but rarely played...so it's enough to give fans what they want. a taste of some thing fresh.

makes a hell of a lot of sense......
