Nice to hear the phone interview. Thanks for sharing the YouTube link.
Highlights:
Jackson Browne is a "great, great, great friend of mine," Bruce says.
"This morning I was listening to Del Shannon, he's sort of under sung as a hero of rock 'n' roll, and had one of the great voices."
From his current, overflowing reading list, he's revisiting what is called " "The Bascombe Trilogy" by novelist Richard Ford:

He's also digging a book on the Wrecking Crew and another on character actor Warren Oates, he notes he's "a big Warren Oates fan."

He's working on some new music. "Yep, yep, you know, got that goin'. So, that's goin' well and hopefully it keeps goin' well (laughs). I have no predictions on it yet."
Great stuff. He sounds happy.
Thanks for posting, Desa.
