I'm confused on this, why would an album announcement change archive releases?? I could see if he was touring and they were releasing live shows nightly.
Did they say when they would be releasing them? Not sure what "accordingly" is.

That's a misprint. You need to call Lee at Nugs. It should have read: according to Lee.
AFAIK they haven't announced exact dates for the rest of this year.
So it could be frist Friday. Or second Thursday. Or third Wednesday...
At this point, they should just say "they will drop when they drop". God forbid a release date be near Flag Day or Arbor Day and it disrupts their schedule.
hey ho, the day something arrives as expected will be a first
let's all welcome the weekend in with a beer.
sounds like they are going back to the way they started, just dropping them randomly...we got some great shows when they did this
in the dark yet again. Can they ever get their act together

My prediction for next show released: Passaic 9/21/1978. Another fabulous 1978 show!
@Oats posted:I like that... the first trifecta and entire stand.
I predict a flurry of "full stand" documents... NJ 1981 and 1984, LA 1981 and 85, and maybe even that long elusive Bottom Line show, with extra tracks from the shows that weren't broadcast.
A man can dream.....

I'll join that dream and stand by this as I've said it all before. I think these 3 shows were the best I've ever seen in NJ going back to the early 70's.
Give me the three O.L.D. sbd's from 2016 and remaster them. Give them the best treatment possible. They should do that for the last 10 shows of that tour. It was Bruce and the E Street Band at their finest. I know Jake and Danny are missing. But the band was playing the best they ever have and Bruce was singing the best he ever has. I'd pull a Martin and buy two of each keeping one wrapped never to be played. lol
I still want 11 August 2003. I got chills when he opened with From Small Things.

O.L.D?
Official Live Download ... the tour DL's that come out shortly after the show. They don't get the full remaster treatment like the O.L.A.s or from the top guys like Flynn or Hoserama or PeterNFCa.

Which three from 2016?
I'm sorry, but at no point in 2016 could you say that Bruce was singing "the best he ever has"
One rising show.... Maybe it is time to honour that fabulous tour (the last complete tour with the complete e street band). Fabulous september shows with Bruce opened the vault & finally played humain touch & lucky town material with the band.

Unfortunately they used cutting edge tapes which were untested to stand the test of time and many from the Rising Tour cannot be used.
I agree with you, I was at the Hurricane show in Connecticut just before the Shea stand and thought it was the best show I saw on that tour and I went to a lot of shows.

The three in NJ. And IMHO, Bruce is definitely a better singer as he got older and learned his craft. Maybe without the youthful passion of 78 but he's more professional, enunciates better and his range has expanded.
I think we can agree to disagree on this one.
Besides I'm off to bed.
Bruce, in studio, has become a better singer. Live, that my friends, is where the argument lies. No live documentation supports him being a better singer on stage in 2016 than he was prior.
His voice was fabulous during the tunnel of love tour.

I don't think anything about the Archive Series can be blamed on his management. It seems pretty clear that Bruce himself doesn't give much of a shit about the series. (If he really cared, Bob Clearmountain would mix them all; you'll note that he never has his studio releases -- or the big budget live releases -- mixed by the same people who do the Archive Series stuff and that's not a coincidence.)
10/6/02 needs the treatment. Or a "best of" from the 1999 meadowlands run.
Maybe they will release a show tomorrow.
Not bad. A great show, I am pretty sure they recorded every night of the stand.
Yes. Probably:
Multi-track recordings from 1984 are limited to this Brendan Byrne run, and the Live Archive series has already released two of its finest shows, opening night (8/5/84) and closing night (8/20/84), each worthy in its own right.
cool, I think this is the only show that bruce and the e-street band have played that I never attended. I was busy that monday night watching Carl Lewis win another gold medal at the Olympics at the LA Coliseum.
hey ho, at least I get to hear it now
as always, keep smiling
next releasr on friday 9th
Next Friday is Independence Day in Uganda so they may have issues getting it out again.
anyone excited about tomorrow's relaese
amyome despondent about the release
anyone not really bothered
Vietnam Vets show would be a nice one. I'm happy with anything, one day it may transition into a video release. Maybe something from the second summer of love. 🤭
Why do we keep dreaming of the Vets show?
Or even a decent Rising show?
When we already know... it will probably be any one of these:

Ok, we got Winterland, we got some great shows already...
But the reason this board exists is for complaining and expecting the worst, no?
Have a great weekend everybody and let's hope it's none of the above!!!
You realise if it is one of the above - you are to blame
