I am trying to sell off the millions of books from my mother in laws basement. I listed two last week and sold one for $2.
So today I listed the rest of the box. About 35 books. Even to do the bare minimum (picture and a line of two) took me several hours.

It probably wasn't worth it, but I have a one doller bid on a John Wayne bio.

Soom of them didn't seem worth the effort, but you never know who is going to want what. I threw one out because it was water damaged.

Haven't found one yet.

2. Did you look into donating them to a local education/literacy related charity in exchange for a fair market value donation receipt?

My mother in law doesn't pay any taxes, so donation has no value to us except to get rid of the books. They will end up there eventually.

This is a pretty dumb statement considering the fact that no one you donate to has to know that the books came from anyone but you.
Just when they think they have all the answers, I come and change all the questions.

Got any first editions? Any first edition crime fiction by authors who were unknown at the time the books came out? That's what my wife is interested in. I'm interested in OLD first editions, which I doubt your mother-in-law has.
